HomeSteps Connect On-Line Training Information
In order to effectively use HomeSteps Connect, it is important
that you complete the training course, which will be offered online
through our training website and a conference call bridge.
Who should attend?
Training is available for suppliers of Freddie Mac who
have access to HomeSteps Connect. If you do business with Freddie
Mac HomeSteps, you will need to be trained.
What are the training technical requirements?
In order to attend online training you must have:
A connection to the Internet
(preferably high-speed)
Internet Explorer 5.5 or
higher (click

A phone to call a toll free
number for the audio portion<

How will I be invited to the training?
Online training will be offered several times throughout
the year.
All active suppliers will
receive an invitation to attend training
via your email address on file.
Follow the instructions in
the invitation you receive.
A reminder will be sent to
you 24 hours before the actual training takes place.

How do I attend the live online training?
When your date and time for training arrives, go to:
http://homesteps.conferencing.com
Click on "Participant Login" and use the meeting number you received
in your invitation.
What if I need help to log-in to the training?
Call 1-800-305-5208 for technical support if you
have problems logging in to the online training.
How can I view previously recorded training
sessions?
First you must have Windows Media Player to view previously
recorded training. Click
