Community Stabilization

HomeSteps® goal is to maintain and sell its properties in a timely manner in order to preserve local property values and help stabilize communities.

All of our suppliers are required to adhere to our HomeSteps Good Neighbor Practices to ensure that within three business days of coming into our inventory:

1. The home is secure
2. Trash has been removed from the interior/exterior
3. The lawn is properly maintained and followed up by weekly maintenance
4. Exterior/interior cleaning is initiated

Qualifying HomeSteps homes come with a limited 2-year home warranty* and home appliance purchase discount*. This helps make HomeSteps homes easier to sell at or near market value and gives buyers peace of mind against unanticipated repair/replacement expenses.
